Our weekend

Since Kian started school, I started preschool at home with the twins.  Grace just started writing letters and she is doing SO good!  Ryland loves to write his name too.  My smart 4 year-olds.  =)

Yep this is a normal day

Spies, ninjas, secret agents, who knows.

I went to the Beth Moore conference with my Mom (I love you Mom!) on Friday night and Saturday morning.  It was a very powerful time!

Saturday afternoon we were invited to the Haywards cabin.  We stayed through Sunday and had tons of fun!  Thanks Tony & Shea!

A fort of trees

The beautiful lake.  The kids enjoyed skipping rocks in all the beauty.  =D

Grace & I were having girl time

The kids

After the cabin, we were exhausted so we went to Lagoon.   What?  Ya, I know.  We are crazy.

Kian's 1st day of 2nd grade

August 16, 2011

Didn't get any pics today but we enjoyed some time with my friends Amber & Christine and all their kids.  It was great getting together on our last day of summer.  Then we got to spend some time with Grandma & Grumpy too.

This picture per day (or more) has been a fun way to catalogue our summer and its truly been the best summer ever.  Thanks for following our blog!  Tomorrow I'll be posting a pic of Kian's 1st day of 2nd grade, but for now - here is a pic of his 1st day of 1st grade, 1 year ago.

Kian's 1st day of 1st grade, at Lincoln Elementary

A few weeks later he was accepted into Oquirrh Mountain Charter school and this is his 1st day there.

We joined Aunt Brenda and cousins Elizabeth & John at the Gateway for fountain splashing, shopping, lunch, and the Planetarium!  It was TONS of fun!

Grace & Elizabeth held hands almost the entire day

Camping Trip 8/11 - 8/12

Had a fun family camping trip up near Strawberry reservoir in the Wasatch mountains.  It was a beautiful day - 70's and very little clouds.  Our camp site was so private that there wasn't anyone within MILES of where we camped.  Great time as a family.

Our new tent - its huge!  Fit 2 queen air mattresses with about 5 feet between them!

Always posing

Not to be outdone....

Randy & Kian bonding time.  In the woods, Randy is in his element and Kian loves to learn it all.

Being silly

We went for a long hike and we could hear elk calling to each other.  But we didn't get to see any on the hike.

Kian likes to give me flowers  =)

The boys having a rest on our hike

Beautiful scenery

Wrigley hiked too

Back at camp

The kids liked walking around the forest and we just enjoyed hanging out and talking

There were lots of carvings in the trees, including ours now!

Our cute little girl

Kian loved every second of the day

Smores!

mmmmm....

What a great night

The kids loved seeing all the stars away from the city lights.  Then we enjoyed playing games in the tent and telling stories.  Great memories.  =)

Kian finished Harry Potter 1 all by himself.  He said he liked it better than the movie.  =)  Thats my little reader!

Today was Randy's day off so we had a busy day going to the pool, then dinner, and then shopping.  We will be camping tomorrow!  Yay!

Spend the day at Lagoon with Shea, Taylor, & Isaac.  Kian is the only non-twin.  LOL

Somebody wanted to ride the puppy on the carousel

My cuties
