Happy Birthday Ryland & Grace!!!

I can't believe my sweet, little twins are 3 years old today! When I first found out I was having twins, I cried... and cried... and stressed... and cried. Now I just couldn't imagine any different and I am SO happy we had twins! They are truly a joy.... I loved when they would cuddle together when they were infants. As 1 year olds they understood each other and had their own "twin talk". When one would cry, the other gets his/her binky or blanky for them. When one was being tickled, the other would laugh too! As 2 year olds, I have never seen 2 year olds play so well together. Comparing to Kian, who wanted us to play with him, the twins play together perfectly and are quite the little team. I love how Grace bats her eyes when she wants something. I love how Ryland says "I cuddle with Mommy" about a dozen times per day.

Happy Birthday Ryland & Grace!!

Now, here is a trip down memory lane:

5 lb 3 oz and 5 lb 6 oz. Ry was in NICU 7 days and Grace 11 days. I was 33 weeks pregnant when they decided to come.
The day Grace came home and Kian seeing her for the 1st time. The twins quickly cuddled together.

Anytime we would lay them down, they would inch to each other and cuddle.

Fall Soccer Season

Kian is now finished with soccer until the Spring. He really enjoyed soccer this fall and he scored 11 goals over the 7 games they played. He really seems to understand and play the game better than last year. But, he still enjoys just being on the field with his buddies and talking or fooling around. He still likes to see if he can run faster than everyone else, but he is watching the ball more while he runs fast. Here are some great pics of this season!! Go Dinos!

Camping Labor Day weekend

We spent 3 days, 2 nights at the Hayward Cabin. The Haywards & us had a great time 4-wheeling, playing games, spending time at the lake, and just hanging out together. It was lots of fun!

No training wheels!!

Kian rode his bike without training wheels for the first time today!!! He was amazing! He picked it up so fast that it makes me think we should've taught him months ago. The video is only about 20 minutes after he started. He didn't even fall much and rode his bike for a couple hours with no band-aids needed. Now its just time for a bigger bike!!

Kian goes to Kindergarten

Kian loved his first day of Kindergarten!! He woke up in the morning and said "Now that I'm a Kindergartner, I will like green beans. But, I won't like squash until I'm 9 years old". Thats the first thing he said!! HA HA!

He had fun meeting his teacher and classmates. The next day, he took a test and of course, the teacher said how smart our little boy is and that he'll do really well this year.

We love you, Kian! No matter how big you get, you will always be my baby. To heaven and back, Peanut.

Day at Lagoon

We had a great time at Lagoon this past Tuesday! We haven't been to Lagoon for 2 years, so it all seemed new to Ryland & Grace. Kian loved every second of it, of course, and was tall enough to ride some bigger rides.

Waving to Daddy on their first ride of the day!

The boys loved this ride because they could shoot the "gun"
Kian & Randy got SOAKED on a ride!

Grace fell asleep for a good 2 hours in the afternoon
For those who don't know the story of how Randy & I met, we met at Lagoon back in 1994 when we both worked for the Rides department at Lagoon. I was working the Music Express (ride pictured behind Randy) and thats where we first met. He saw me (for the first time) working this ride and said "Thats the girl I'm going to marry". Rest is history. Its funny taking our kids to this park because of all our memories!

Ry & Grace rode almost every ride together, but when they were separated, Grace would talk to Ryland if he was near her or she would ask for him.
After we left Lagoon, Ryland fell asleep in 1 minute flat.

Such a FUN day! Exhausting and fun!! We'll be doing it again next week during "bounceback"!
