Our human fish, Kian started swimming lessons today at Surf-n-Swim.  He is on level 2 and enjoyed learning 6 different types of "floats".  Its pretty cool going to Surf-n-Swim for swim lessons because in the front area they have 1 large swim team picture on the wall and its of Randy & his swim-teammates of the 1992 team from Layton High School.  Its fun to see that picture every time we go there.

Happy Father's Day!  We enjoyed a fantastic sermon at church, great time with family for lunch (Thanks Grumpy!), play time with the kids at home, and then a movie after the kids went to bed.  It was a great day.  I am very thankful that my kids have such an amazing Daddy and I have a wonderful husband!

What a FUN day! We went fishing up in East Canyon - so beautiful to drive through the red rock canyon surrounded by green hills and snow-capped mountains! Gorgeous! Then we went to a drive-in with the kids and saw Mr. Popper's Penguins. The kids had tons of fun sitting in the back of the truck and watching a movie.

The kids had a great day with both sets of grandparents -- went to the park for a couple hours with Grandmam & Chops then met up with Grandma & Grump at McDonalds. By the end of a hard-playing day, their feet were black. =)

It was a beautiful day and the first day to hit 80 degrees this summer. So we went to the park and met up with Shea, Taylor, and Isaac. RyRy gets so pink when its hot!

Today, the kids & I went to the Hogle Zoo with some friends. We had a lot of fun and the kids really liked the "Zoorassic Park" theme.

Picture Per Day

I have a good friend who is doing a Picture per Day on her blog and it sounds like a great idea!! I think it will be a fun way to sum up our summer! So I will try my best to get at least 1 picture for each day.

The Boys

The boys had a sleepover and instead of Ry sleeping in his bed, which was on the floor in Kian's room, he fell asleep next to Kian. This is the pic of them in the morning.

1st day at Lagoon this year

We got our season passes to Lagoon this year (finally!) and had a fun day as a family! The weather was beautiful in the 70's and it didn't even rain... which is odd this year in Utah. This is my favorite pic of the day.

Scooters!

Finally got Grace her own scooter!! She kept saying "I can't believe I have my own scooter!" We enjoyed a nice evening by walking around the block while the kids all rode their scooters.

DISNEYLAND!!

We surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland last week. We woke them up at 5:30am, fed them breakfast, and then told them! Kian was very excited - his eyes got really wide and he kept saying "Really??!". Grace said "Its too expensive" and RyRy didn't really react much at all. But that changed when we walked into Disneyland later that day! The kids were SO thrilled and loved everything about it. They loved the characters, rides, shows, and everything in between. I will never forget what a Magical week we shared together!

Hats were picked. Grace wanted the pinkest thing she could find. She didn't wear them much later though. RyRy really wanted a Peter Pan hat and he wore it all the time! He has become a big fan of Peter Pan. Kian picked the Haunted Mansion hat, even though the Mansion scared him and he didn't want to go in there again. But he liked the bats on the hat.

While Kian & I were on Space Mountain, the twins fell asleep on Randy within 20 seconds. Everytime we stopped for a minute, they would fall asleep. =)

California Adventure. We spent 4 days in Disneyland and maybe only a half day of that in California Adventure. But we really enjoyed the Aladdin musical - it was a Broadway-like production. Very impressive and the genie was hilarious.

SeaWorld - we really enjoyed SeaWorld and it was a nice change of pace in the middle of our week. The shows were great and the kids loved the penguins and sharks the most.

After SeaWorld, we went to the beach in San Diego. 1st time the kids have been to the ocean. We took their shoes/socks off and let them put their feet in the water and make prints in the sand. They really enjoyed it.

Grace met many princesses - Cinderella, Ariel, Tiana, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and even saw Tangled's Rapunzel. But when Grace waited for Cinderella, RyRy wanted to meet her too! So cute!

C'mon Kian!

Spent Kian's birthday at Legoland which he loved. It was a great birthday week for him too. He got a birthday button at DL and Legoland. At DL, all the employees would wish him Happy Birthday and people even sang Happy Birthday to him. It was a lot of fun.

I hope to go back one day! It was an amazing and memorable vacation!
