Do you remember when?

A friend of mine did this on her blog, and I thought that it was fun to think of memories that I have of her, so thought I would share with the rest of you. If you have more than one that you want to share, go right on ahead :)
1. Add a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable.
2. Next, post these instructions on your blog and see how many people have a fun memory of you. It's pretty fun to see the responses.
3. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. :)

**UNDER CONSTRUCTION**

As you have noticed, I haven't been blogging lately.  I have so many fantastic stories and pictures over the past few weeks, but my laptop is temporarily "out of order".   My mac should be fixed soon and I'll be able to post.  The Apple store is awesome and they are hooking me up with a part that should fix it.  So stay tuned....

Until then, I'll post a blog that my friend is doing.  I'm not sure how many people will actually respond to it, since my family aren't big bloggers.... but we'll see how it goes.

Family BBQ

Yesterday we drove down to Uncle Gordon's house in Lehi to visit some of Randy's family we haven't seen in quite a while. It was tons of fun and Kian had a blast playing with his 2nd cousin, Hailey. Who, although wearing a pretty dress, played hard and wasn't afraid of getting dirty.  Kian hasn't stopped talking about her!

Grace admiring her pretty 2nd cousin
Grandma and her 2 little girls
Sweet cousins
Grumpy and Ry-bug
Aunt Judy & Uncle Gary were in town from South Carolina
Ry sat on this bench with Randy's cousin, Dustin, for 30 minutes.  Ry would "talk" to him about a few important things, smile at him, and wouldn't let ANYONE else sit up there with them.  It was hilarious.  They became buddies right away.

South Ogden Parade

Every year, we kick-start our 4th of July celebrations with South Ogden Days Parade. Kian LOVES parades! But what kid wouldn't love a parade with their DADDY in it??!
Randy is on the far left

Kian's buddies, Taylor & Isaac, were there with us
After the parade, Randy brought us all into the Police Station and Fire Station.  The boys had a great time checking out the jail cells and Fire Trucks.  A couple of the Firemen sprayed water at the boys!  Just some of the advantages of your daddy being a policeman!

"READY, SET, GO"

For those who don't know, there is a "starting line" from the edge of our family room that begins a daily race.  The twins start at the line while we say "Ready, Set, Go!" and they usually run all the way around the kitchen and back.  Lately, they have been "saying" the words all by themselves...

SLIP-N-SLIDE

Today we broke out the slip-n-slide for the 1st time! Kian had a blast!! Grace enjoyed walking around like a princess. Ryland enjoyed another opportunity to cuddle with his mommy and avoid the grass.
Grace did a little pose as soon as her swimsuit was on!
WoooooHooooo!!!!
Needless to say, Kian enjoyed the slip-n-slide
"Alright, Gracie, all you need to do is run, jump, and slide"
OUR LITTLE BEAUTY

"Hey Daddy, this water is COLD!"
Ry just sat there and cuddled with me while watching the fun.  We tried to get him over to the slip-n-slide but he'd just cry.  He wouldn't even walk over there.  He just enjoyed cuddling with mommy and not having to share me with Kian or Grace.

Then, we broke out the spaghetti dinner....   here is the damage!

Last week with the Haywards

I have been behind on my blogs, so here are some fun pictures of our kids with the Hayward twins, Isaac and Taylor. In the past couple weeks, we have had a play date and the twins had their 4 year old birthday party!  Here are some fun pictures!

Super Heroes!
At the birthday party, there was a pinata and not many physical injuries!
"Maybe if I wink at Isaac a few times, he'll give me this camera"
Howdy Mater!
I dig trucks
Ryland actually got over his fear of grass and played!
I love this side-view pic of Grace!

Our GROWING Gorilla

Look at how much Kian has grown over the past few years:

2005
2006
2007
2008
Here is our first gorilla pic of Ryland, who didn't want to stand there.

Unlike Grace, who was happy to stand there and have her photo taken... many, many times.

Took our wild animals to see the wild animals

The kids weren't feeling well today, so we skipped church so we didn't infect everyone with their cough. So, we did the next best thing, took the kids to the Hogle Zoo. Kian had SO much fun and the twins seemed to enjoy themselves. As usual, the train was their favorite part. It was about 70 degrees and cloudy, which was really nice!

Kian and the Giraffes
We took the twins in the wagon so they could look around.... they had a lot of fun... fighting over the water bottle.  Note to self: bring more than 1 water bottle.

The picture isn't clear, but they were looking down at the monkeys.

Ryland won.  Our little Crocodile Hunter.
Do you think he is happy?

Busy week

We have had a full week and here are some pictures to sum it up!
Last weekend, we went to Elizabeth's (our niece) 1 year old birthday party!  Ryland was adorable waiting at the door at then end of the party.  He was so tired.
On Wednesday night was Kian's AWANA awards ceremony and the last AWANA until the fall.  He is sitting next to his friend Noah.
Kian's face lit up when they called his name to give him his certificate of completing his first year of AWANA.  He also got a ribbon and another patch for his vest.
Kian's AWANA classmates are called the Cubbies.  He has 1 more year of being a Cubby until he becomes a Sparky!
This is a picture of Grace with her new boyfriend, Caleb!  Just kidding, of course, she isn't allowed to have a boyfriend until she is 30 years old.  Caleb (20 months) and his 3 year old brother Josh, are the boys of my friend Amber.  We have had many playdates and the kids have tons of fun together!  It was cute because Ryland was a little upset that another boy was sitting next to his sister.  Protective, I guess!
Grace loves to wear this little skirt and she will cry if I take it off.  She loves being a pretty, little girl.
Another picture of Ryland & Grace's favorite activity, Ry pushing Grace around in the Tonka Truck.  They do this almost every day.
Grace loves to just sit in the truck.
Ryland loves to bring me toys so I can play with him!
